Virgin America had these cute/cool personal entertainment systems called 'Red'. You had your own screen like jetblue but on VA you could play games using, check your flight status using Google Maps, order food, chat with other passengers (probably a feature not many use), watch tv, etc etc... I loved it ! :D

My past week has been filled with freelance. Messy desks and map deciphering for reference imagery are some of the elements that make up my day.
Summertime is like this for me. I lose the structure of a teaching schedule and my hours and days mush into each other. The calendar date pages are whipping off the wall in fast motion.

I coded experimental TiltShift Google Map, however its too heavy to run on the web.

I hope its a part of fair use.
Today i learned that Paparazzi is amazing when you want a as high resoluted map from google maps as possible, without having to take screen shots and working in photoshop forever. Just add the url to the zoomed in part of the map you want in the centre of your image, and tell Paparazzi to make it huge, like 10.000x5.000 pixels or so.
