In partnership with Advertising Week, Times Square Arts presents artist Benjamin Lebovitz’s Borders on Times Square’s electronic billboards from 11:57 p.m. to midnight every night in September. This project is a part of Midnight Moment, a monthly presentation by The Times Square Advertising Coalition (TSAC) and Times Square Arts.
Earlier this year, Times Square Arts and Advertising Week put out an open call for Midnight Moment proposals from artists working in the advertising industry. The winning submission was Borders, created by art director Benjamin Lebovitz. Using Google Earth satellite technology — a familiar medium after Lebovitz’s work on projects for the company — Lebovitz depicts the world from above, displaying the international borders between countries like Nepal and China, the US and Mexico, Syria and Turkey, Israel and Jordan, and Kuwait and Iraq, along with the remains of the Berlin Wall and landscapes of Glacier National Park. Bordersseeks to understand the world in a more unbiased way, urging viewers to reinterpret these geological and political divides as delicate, shared ecosystems and make a personal connection with the social responsibility to humanity and the environment.

Doisneau's speciality was street photos and he avoided fashion or other forms of reportage. He was awarded a series of prizes for his work.
In the 1930s he used a Leica on the streets of Paris.

Toista aiempi ”Dataan tutustuminen” kalvon Textfacet -toiminto tällä kertaa ”Ammatti” -sarakkeelle. Vasemmalle avautuvasta palkista klikkaa ”Cluster”-painiketta.
This is a great tool in class. My friends and I collaborate on documents/notes for certain classes. That way - we each take turns taking notes. Some classes we can relax :)
Then we all have easy access to it later.
We all know this happens on networks which use proxy servers but Google really needs to rework this screen.
Consider low ability users here, or even children. It is not intuitive how to get a different captcha challenge, and 3 of every 5 are this badly rendered.
I've gotten this message a couple different sites at various times. It is usually fixed by a refresh. Time to uninstall?
Apparently looking at retired B-52 bombers on Google earth is a favorite pastime for Japanese youth.
While checking out Google Flu Trends (which is otherwise neat: www.google.org/flutrends/ ) I couldn't help but notice how retarded "poorly-rendered" Michigan looks.
Come on, Google! I know you have satellite pictures of this to prove to yourself it doesn't look as blob-like! :)
