The Golf Mk1 was the first car that exposed me to how truly transformative tuning could be to an everyday basic platform. Indelibly burned into my brain, that first Mk1 experience came in yellow and has remained a lifelong favorite.
You might notice something different about this build in terms of scale and proportions. This is the first design in what will be a series of Toon Style builds, an alternate approach to proportioning for cars that just don’t work well in 6w or 8w. This approach lent itself perfectly to achieving the Golf look resulting in something a little different with unique character.
I hope you enjoy!

This was taken a few weeks back but I thought I'd post it before the new year. It was a beautiful day and perfect for the last day of golf. It certainly was colorful and I enjoyed just soaking up all that beauty that nature offered that day. Never mind the golf scores.

A British Airways sub-fleet that has been given little mention is the Rolls-Royce Boeing 777-200ER's in the fleet, mainly those in a 4-class configuration... However, expect them to be uploaded with more regularity in the next few years when they see their First Class interiors removed and featuring more Economy seats by going 10-abreast in the near future. A time frame has yet to be announced as to when the first example with be retrofitted.
British Airways Rolls-Royce Boeing 777-200ER's in comparison to the General Electric variants are much more capable at flying long-haul flights and do feature crew rests. Hence the reason why you will only see the General Electric variants operating sub-9 hour flights (London Heathrow to Seattle, and London Gatwick to Cancún being the longest for the type from both bases), the Rolls-Royce variants can operate further, the longest flight you will see them on the network is London Heathrow to Buenos Aires.
It should be mentioned that whilst the General Electric variants don't usually stray from the sub-9 hour flights, the Rolls-Royce variants can fill in them as they provide some slack in BA's schedule.
British Airways have recently updated its W17 schedule and considerably more extensive, with some adjustments made to the flights that are planned to be changed. Effective from 29th October 2017 (unless stated below), the changes as per Airline Route are as follows:
-Beijing-Capital: Previously planned daily Boeing 747-400 operation converts to Boeing 787-9 operation.
-Boston-Logan: Planned once weekly Boeing 787-9 operation (BA202/203) increases to thrice weekly flights.
-Delhi-Indira Ghandi: BA256/257 converts from Boeing 787-9 operation to 4-class Boeing 777-200ER operation. Twice daily flights operates with Boeing 747-400's and Boeing 777-200ER's.
-Dubai-International: Thrice daily flights operates with one Boeing 747-400 and 2 Boeing 777-200ER's, instead of one Boeing 747-400 and 2 Boeing 787-9's.
-Hong Kong-Chek Lap Kok: Effective until 27th February 2018, BA27/28 sees Boeing 777-200ER's operate 3 days a week on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday (Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday from Hong Kong). Boeing 777-300ER operation continues 4 days a week.
-Las Vegas-McCarran: Between 7th January 2018 until 14th January 2018, 10 times weekly operation increases to twice daily (14 times a week). Boeing 747-400's continue to be utilised.
-Lagos-Murtala Muhammed: Daily 4-class Boeing 777-200ER operation replaced by Boeing 747-400's.
-Mexico City: Pushed forward to 29th October 2017 (previously 1st November 2017), Boeing 787-9's replace Boeing 747-400's on 5 times weekly basis.
-Moscow-Domodedovo: BA232/233 sees Boeing 787-9's replace Boeing 777-200ER's 3 days a week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
-Rio de Janeiro- Galeão: Increase to 6 times a week remains unchanged, previously planned Boeing 787-9 operation converts to Boeing 787-8 operation.
-Riyadh-King Khalid: Boeing 777-200ER replaces Boeing 747-400's on the following days; Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from London Heathrow; and Monday, Friday and Sunday from Riyadh.
Tel Aviv-Ben Gurion: BA162/163 sees Boeing 777-200ER's replace Boeing 787-8's, BA164/165 sees Boeing 747-400's operate once a week and Boeing 777-200ER's 6 days a week.
-Tokyo-Narita: Boeing 787-9's replaced by mixture of Boeing 777-200ER/300ER operation.
-Washington-Dulles: Boeing 787-9's replace Boeing 777-200ER's on BA292/293, however selected flights on Saturday continue to be scheduled as Boeing 777-200ER's.
The changes are extensive, mainly Boeing 777-200ER's and Boeing 787-8/9's are featured as capacity starts to shift. A notable mention goes to Beijing which sees Boeing 787's scheduled for the first time by British Airways, and even more surprising is Boeing 787-8's being scheduled to Rio de Janeiro, showing that while the frequency is steadily increasing back to normal, loads don't warrant First Class service.
Currently, British Airways operates a large Boeing 777 fleet with 58 in service, which includes 3 Boeing 777-200's, 43 Boeing 777-200ER's and 12 Boeing 777-300ER's.
Yankee Mike Mike Golf is one of 43 Boeing 777-200ER's in service with British Airways, delivered new to the flag-carrier in September 2000 and she is powered by 2 Rolls-Royce Trent 895 engines. None of the Rolls-Royce Boeing 777-200ER's have carried the World Tails.

A referee wears FJ Performance Golf Pants with easy care fabric that avoids wrinkles or shrinkage, flat front construction, four way stretch, jean style pockets and a polyester and spandex blend. Grey slacks and a black polo shirt were the referee uniform for the event and these slacks seemed to be the most flattering of the various grey pants worn by the officials. The Guelph Open took place on Sunday January 20th in Guelph Ontario. The Guelph Open is a carding tournament, meaning that wrestlers wishing to get carding points must particpate in the competition. With enough carding points, athletes with with a top placing at the Senior National Championships in an Olympic weight may receive funding. As a result, the quality of competition is quite high as we see a huge variety of competitors from across Canada and from the United States. Concordia University, the Montreal YMHA, the Riverdale Wrestling Club and Vanier College sent athletes to the competition in the hopes of getting points for their existing cards or carding points to obtain a card.*
