A referee wears FJ Performance Golf Pants with easy care fabric that avoids wrinkles or shrinkage, flat front construction, four way stretch, jean style pockets and a polyester and spandex blend. Grey slacks and a black polo shirt were the referee uniform for the event and these slacks seemed to be the most flattering of the various grey pants worn by the officials. The Guelph Open took place on Sunday January 20th in Guelph Ontario. The Guelph Open is a carding tournament, meaning that wrestlers wishing to get carding points must particpate in the competition. With enough carding points, athletes with with a top placing at the Senior National Championships in an Olympic weight may receive funding. As a result, the quality of competition is quite high as we see a huge variety of competitors from across Canada and from the United States. Concordia University, the Montreal YMHA, the Riverdale Wrestling Club and Vanier College sent athletes to the competition in the hopes of getting points for their existing cards or carding points to obtain a card.*

Volkswagen is currently introducing the eighth generation of the Golf. Looks like there are only a few demonstration cars at German dealerships yet.
Golf is considered to be a hobby and I play twice a week but of course that is sometimes not achieved due to the weather ~ heavy rain and strong winds will keep my off the golf course!!

Latest Bright Bricks build for AutoTrader UK. Check out the Autotrader UK Twitter feed to register your car and view the stop motion film of this build. The idea is that you register your car and it might get selected to be built in Lego. Each build will be live filmed and posted on Twitter/Youtube etc later the same day. I will be completing the builds this week. I have pre-selected the pieces and will build the car in their studio. I do not have access to all of our pieces so I am hoping I have the right ones. I don't even know which cars I will be building until the actual day. Wish me luck!
Ok so Wednesday’s challenge was to build this Modified Mk2 Golf. It took 6 hours and includes opening doors, opening bonnet/hood, detailed engine bay and interior.
This one was a real challenge. It has been modified with wide flaring wheel arches so I used a half stud offset and plenty of snot work to create the flare. The rear strut and roof was also very difficult but I think it worked out well. This one is my personal favourite so far.

The owner of the nearly 11hectare former Royal Oak Golf Course land, just south of Elk/Beaver Lake Regional Park, has applied to exclude the property from the provincial Agricultural Land Reserve, which could open the door to development. About two hectares of the property are not part of the Agricultural Land Reserve.
70802 is seen passing through Golf Street station in Carnoustie whilst working 6B32 Craiginches to Oxwellmains empty cement tanks from Friday 26th May. Booked train loco 60056 (on the rear) had failed in Aberdeen and 70802 was sent up from Grangemouth to effect a rescue - at the same time making the class debut both north of the Central Belt and also in Aberdeen. (this was also the class's debut on the Scottish Cement circuit)
It was only earlier this year the class were cleared north of Dundee.
