Well, I managed to catch this shot in-between heavy rain this morning. I would normally have been on the golf course, but not today!! We are having a rainy day which is developing into much worse by tomorrow!!
We have an amber storm warning for Storm Amy with winds of 95mph expected for Friday and Saturday!!

In the 1970's the Golf was the life-saver for Volkswagen. Too long the company had relied on rear-engined Beetles and variations on that theme. The first generation was built from 1974 until 1983. This one has a 1.6 litre diesel engine.

Our golf club house manager, Claire, and course manager, George, practice holding the handicap winners' trophy at this weekends open foursommes tournament. The actual winners were getting ready for the prize giving ceremony. Well done to them both for the high standards provided during the competition.
Q326 rolls by the miniature golf course in Grandville on a sunny afternoon in July. This was the first train I shot with my first DSLR.

The Golf Tavern in Edinburgh has a history connected to golf on Bruntsfield Links dating back to the establishment of the golf course around 1456. While the current pub was built in 1898 by Robert Macfarlane Cameron, the building is said to have served as the world's first golf clubhouse, "Golfhall," in 1717, and later was used by various golf societies from 1852.
