This is a reasonably famous golf course, played by many golf celebries, including Mr McIlroy and Mr Woods to name but a few.
Took a different route through Murlough and ended up at the fence (actually razor wire :-) marking the boundary of the golf course. The manicurred greens made a nice foreground for the mountains and the sunset (at least I thought so).
This was three images stitched in PS. This time the frame was required to prevent flickr from trying to display it as a panorama.

The second generation of the Volkswagen Golf was built from 1983 until 1992. In that era it was one of the most sold cars in Europe. It has a 1.3 litre engine with 54 PS.
In the 1970's the Golf was the life-saver for Volkswagen. Too long the company had relied on rear-engined Beetles and variations on that theme. The first generation was built from 1974 until 1983. This one has a 1.6 litre diesel engine.
Our golf club house manager, Claire, and course manager, George, practice holding the handicap winners' trophy at this weekends open foursommes tournament. The actual winners were getting ready for the prize giving ceremony. Well done to them both for the high standards provided during the competition.

No golf tees in the Christmas Crackers this year. I got a pen. I guess for scorekeeping, or use as an emergency tee?
A nice day for golf and goofing around with the camera.
