Drunken panning fun.

Impromptu drunken night in London catching up with one of our friends for "a few drinks". Decided to take the camera and get some shots of London but too much whisky later I kind of failed and only really got a couple of half decent shots of which this was one.

Another photographer on the beach packs up at the end of the day. At least, I think that's a tripod over her shoulder... :)

Everyone is equal when riding a metro. No first class or coach. CEO's, actors, maids, janitors, teachers, mothers, teenagers...the mode of transportation evens the field. It gets you from point A to point B efficiently and timely. Movement is so important. As a Southern Californian, I along with millions will suffer the lack of vision and will by the people and politicians alike. More cars, more time wasted.

Lisa's Eternal Flame

If ever there is a tomorrow when we are not together, there is something you must remember.

You are braver than you believe,

stronger than you seem,

and smarter than you think...

but the most important thing is,

even if we are apart,

I will always be with you.

A.A. Milne

Dear Lisa....Thank you for your friendship and caring ways....i am so blessed to have met you. You ARE strength and courage, humility and humor, grace under pressure, and an extraordinary human being, that i am so proud to call friend. Love you like a sister... your heaven awaits with open arms. {{XXX}}

new year in Thailand seems like Christmas.

i realized that it’s a time to be with the people you love and family.

so…i’m originally from Issan, the northeast of Thailand.

it’s a time to be with my mom and family.

i have a plan, back to my hometown by train.

i used to take the train back to my hometown while i was student.

i really love something happened on the train,… specially people’s life.

One of the the challenges of doing a photo a day is finding something interesting to shoot everyday. This challenge is enhanced when travelling all day. Left Santa Barbara for LAX at 7am, for a noon flight, arrived in Montreal at 8pm, drove back to Ottawa, and arrived home at 11:30pm, unpack and bed. So this crappy shot of the lounge at LAX is all you get. Day 136 done.

A digital painting using an effect I worked out in Photoshop

Starting the year with some extreme car blur, or should that be blurgh as it was such a grey, drizzly day?

Belated happy new year to you.

Now the party's over

I'm so tired

Then I see you coming

Out of nowhere

Much communication in a motion

Without conversation or a notion

Avalon

When the samba takes you

Out of nowhere

And the background's fading

Out of focus

Yes the picture's changing

Every moment

And your destination

You don't know it

Dancing, dancing

Dancing, dancing

When you bossanova

There's no holding

Would you have me dancing

Out of nowhere

For those with good eyesight, otherwise it's just a bunch of clouds, so feel free to view large.

Wishing all my Christian friends a safe and happy Easter!

Flying in to Raleigh-Durham airport. I attended my 62nd high school class reunion in Bennettsville, SC.

Shortly after leaving Albany-Rensselaer Station, Amtrak Train 63 turns west and crosses the Hudson River. I have photographed this bridge from this vantage point before, but not with a pinhole camera with a multi-second exposure time. Unhappily it appears I neglected to advance the film between. I thought I had. I shall have to try this again.
