When the sun sets and autumn winds start to sing..

The sea beckoned to me, and all reality was lost—swept away in the entrancing song of the tide.

Horse Guards Parade, London

During our 1 1/2 hour drive home from one of my neurofeedback appointments this past May we saw this storm for probably about the last 30 minutes of the drive and drove through it—then we met it at home too. This is the road that leads to our home. At this point in the road it appears to me as though we will drive right up into the clouds.

HSS & wishing you all a dreamy week ahead!

La France,

We went at home from Spain, through La France and Belgium to The Netherlands. It was so quiet on the roads because of the corona-virus. We arrived at home just in time!

I’ve come back to my home town for a course for a couple of days. Before the course started yesterday morning I went for a walk around the old docks area as it was known when I was a child. It’s now the marina and maritime quarter with significant investment and regeneration going on here.

This light on a boat was here though docked up when I was a child and still floats now outside the museum. It must have guided thousands of sailors safely home in its time, but now it just exists as a reminder of a past existence.

The light was beautiful and warm yesterday but it would be as for once ( due to not sleeping very well!) I was up and out just after dawn.

Thanks for stopping

This is just a quick photo I took with my phone as our family was driving home (I wasn’t driving—my husband was) one day last week. This is the road we live on and I love how the small hill looks as though the road takes us up to the clouds. For a while I’ve been fascinated and intrigued by clouds and thankful for how they help me cope as I notice their beauty, various shapes, designs, colors, patterns and textures. Ever since taking this photo I’ve been looking at it several times each day as a way to help myself cope.

“The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known. They speak without a sound or word; their voice is never heard. Yet their message has gone throughout the earth, and their words to all the world. God has made a home in the heavens for the sun.”
