Orcs and goblins and ogres Oh My!

It was extremely windy, and the sand blew everywhere. Mom didn't walk down into the valley with me but stayed in the car with the windows rolled down. Sand got everywhere inside my car!

Goblin Valley State Park. They look more like mushrooms, but the name Goblins is better marketing

After a long day of hiking in Horseshoe Canyon, we made it back to Goblin Valley just in time to see the sun set on the valley. It was the 'fastest' sunset I've ever seen; to the best of my memory, from the moment we stepped out of our car it took less than thirty seconds for shadows to fill the valley, leaving us with only the dim light of dusk to wander around amongst the hoodoos.
