It isn't enough that we hand feed them peanuts through the back door. Now we've added "corn on the cob" for the little tree rats because certain household members think they're "cute". These guys will whack off an entire cob in half a day. And now when we sit at the table by the patio door they climb on the screen demanding peanuts. I was handing a peanut to one of them through the open door when he was attacked from behind by one of his gluttonous friends. It scared him and he dashed through the open door into the house. Hilarity ensured. After hiding in the potted plants, he made a dash for the open door and got out but he was eying the furniture. Have to keep an eye on him.
