I have been so busy this week i haven't had a chance to take any pictures. Our house is being painted so we have to lock Gizmo in the bedroom, he isn't happy about it!

My little shihtzu, Gizmo, had to have gallstones removed last Thursday. He is not bouncing back very well and I am so worried about him.
7 1/2 years ago I got to have first pick of the litter! I had been teaching piano lessons to a very talented student. It was her senior year and their budget was tight. I gave this student 9 months of piano lessons, and she gave me Gizmo! The exchange worked out so well! I got this wonderful dog, and my student ended up with a college music scholarship and went on to minor in music. It was a win-win for both of us.
One of the most difficult things right now is seeing my other shihtzu, Sammy, lay by Giz's side and lick him and try and console him. He wouldn't eat or drink for 2 days; and Gizmo hasn't eaten anything since Wednesday of last week.
Tomorrow 8am sharp we are headed back to the vet for the 4th time. This prescious little dog has been my constant shadow along with Sammy, for years. It's like having sick children. Very, very difficult. I hope to have better news soon and am praying and trying to keep up the faith that he'll be okay.
Shiny and snazzy like a new gadget or cutting edge technology, this doggy is clearly a Gizmo! Its contoured chrome surface turns this pup into a kind of funhouse mirror – a fun and funky design!

I knitted a dog sweater for a friend in Montreal. She sent this back to me. Her partner photoshopped all the stuff you see, except for the dog and the sweater. I did not take this photo, but thought you might enjoy it.
I have re-submitted this to LEGO Ideas. My original submission was rejected due to "licensed property that doesn’t fit the LEGO Group’s standards for appropriate content or themes."
However, now Gizmo will be included as a character in LEGO Dimensions year 2. So there is a better chance Gizmo will be accepted on LEGO Ideas. Fingers crossed...

Everyone’s favorite mogwai….GIZMO. Gremlins is one of my favorite holiday films….I will prolly be in a holiday film mode for the next month and a half. And yes….I do count Home Alone, Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, and Gremlins as holiday films
