Macro Monday Theme - Contraption

This is a rather simple tool, but I never knew how to use it or thought I needed to. I have had this for a long time and never noticed the directions on back. I used it for my set up and now I think I may start using it. I always seem to learn something new for Macro Monday!

Happy Macro Monday and have a great week!

Gizmo trying to get some rest ;-)

Yes, a crank like gizmo on this magnificently restored 1909 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud with all of it's bright metal accoutrement shining brightly in the Connecticut overhead light, and there was plenty of polished brass and stainless sparkling on this classic. Then, there was this one, a crank like item, attached at the very back of the car near, or seemingly connected to the canvas roof on the rear of the car. Was it a "power roof" retractor, and, of course, that would be muscle power? Or, was it a rear, back seat driver ejection seat, maybe used to crank out the cranky, pesky mother-in-law? There was no one there to ask, but I'll assume it's the former.

Gizmo's that hold thing's together.

Did you ever wonder how your computer reads data? I know I have. Coincidentally, the #MacroMonday group theme calls for #two of something.

Here we have a macro of two things: a wee platter, left, with a gizmo on the right that reads the zeros and ones. See those tiny gold things in a vertical line just about midway? Those read the platter. Or write to it. Voila. Don't ask. My husband has these parts in his office, our garage, and elsewhere.

These are definitely TWO things. That's the sum of my IT knowledge.

Tried to give the gizmos a bit of a warm glow. Shot this on a dark reflective surface.

Thank you for previous kind and funny comments!

Happy Monochrome Monday! Gizmo is a mix breed and the smallest of all the grandogs. But what he lacks in size he makes up for in personality and fearlessness.
