Here's the goose that was chasing us down the road when I took the swan photos. At first one swan was chasing the goose. Then the goose spotted us and swam across the water in a very determined manner, got up and walked the shallow part and hit the road. It came right up to the van!! I think it wanted to chomp me!

The GITA judges were behind schedule so when I arrived and signed in, they directed me to the waiting room.
I was practicing in there by going through my notes and thought it would be a memorable keepsake if I took a picture of my laptop with my presentation slides and visitor ID badge, lol.
Anyways, it was an honour to finally meet Mike MacLean. He's the one who I've been exchanging emails with once I was notified that I was a finalist.

My supervisor informed me about the GITA scholarship and told me to apply right away: good thing I did 'cause whether or not I come out on top, being a finalist means I at least win some prize money, hehe :P.
