While wandering around the Manga exhibition at Urbis I heard the Ghost In The Shell movie's haunting music and ran off to find it like the fanboy I am.

Segments from the original Ghost in The Shell movie were playing, followed by bits of The Matrix, to illustrate how the Matrix was influenced by anime.

Youtube seems to have lots of videos on the same topic. Here's one of them.

one of a few (okay, a lot of) photos i took at dockdogs this weekend. since the regular photographer wasn't able to attend, i tried to get some shots of our club members and friends to share with them. all of my computer time this week has been used up by the event pics, but i am just about done with them and will have time for flickr soon. i didn't get a leap year photo done this week because i was hoping to get a pic of alice jumping, but i couldn't get anyone to come with me and take pics... if i do get one i will make it part of the set.

i don't know how the real photographer does it... he takes over 5000 photos at one event! i took about 200 and that is enough... lol
