Gita di oggi cui non ho partecipato, sul monte Figne. La foto non è mia, ma la ho un po' modificata.
Questa immagine um po' inquietante mi sembra faccia da sfondo alle notizie che continuano ad arrivare dalla tv e giornali.
Continuano i cortei di protesta : si parla di rischio dittatura, soprattutto dittatura sanitaria, di diritto di manifestare delle minoranze (perché di minoranze si tratta).
Ma una minoranza che porta un danno alla maggioranza dei cittadini, che è spesso violenta, disobbedisce alle regole sanitarie e attacca i giornalisti, che accoglie tra le sue fila gruppi neofascisti ( che sarebbero proibiti dalla Costituzione) e sostiene teorie antiscientifiche, contro ogni evidenza... Combatte davvero un rischio dittatura o è un attacco alla democrazia e alla ragione?
Tutto questo mentre i contagi risalgono, anche se da noi in modo non ancora preoccupante, e nei Paesi Europei No-Vax, No-Pass, o dove non si è più messa in atto alcuna restrizione, le persone muoiono a migliaia...
Perché il Covid non è un'invenzione per sottomettere il mondo. Purtroppo esiste, e lo vediamo

Eastern meadowlark is songbird that belongs to the blackbird family. There are 17 subspecies of eastern meadowlarks that can be found in the eastern parts of North, Central and South America. Eastern meadowlark inhabits grasslands, prairies, pastures, agricultural fields and areas near the roads. Accelerated development of agriculture and pollution of the ground with pesticides negatively affect survival of eastern meadowlarks in the wild. Despite these factors, population of eastern meadowlarks is still large and stable.
I found this one along my favorite road. Joe Overstreet Road in Osceola County, Florida.
In de nasleep van de coronapandemie reden er extra treinen naar de kust. Iedereen kreeg een gratis ticket van de NMBS aangeboden (op bestelling). Dat lokte tijdens de zomer van 2022 heel wat volk naar de kust. Vanuit Leuven werden er 2 heen en retourtjes tussen Leuven en Oostende met een sandwich m5-stam ingesloten tussen 2 21ers of 27ers gereden, of een combinatie van beiden. Uitzonderlijk werd met 2 locs op kop gereden in geval van een storing van de loc aan staart (die telkens op sleep werd gezet).
's Morgens reed het ledig materieel vanuit Hasselt naar Leuven en 's avonds opnieuw terug. Dat leverde bij omleidingen wel interessante reiswegen op. Zo reed deze trein normaalgezien via lijn 35, echter via lijn 21 en 36 werd ook gereden. Tussen Gent en Brugge reed deze trein dan via L50A. Tijdens werken op deze lijn moest er omgeleid worden via lijn 75, 73 en 66.
Op een zonnige maar koude zaterdagmorgen was het de 2702 die de extra trein naar Oostende mocht brengen. Op de middag keerde het geheel terug. Het was dan de 2108 die met de 18006 richting Leuven spoorde. Ter hoogte van Gits werden enkele omleiders opgewacht waaronder ook de IC's van Knokke/Blankenberge en Oostende.

It's a hot summer night and CPR's Megantic local has arrived back at Sherbrooke. With the restroom stop, coffee, and good ole' ribbing out of the way, it's time get back to work and yard the train. Next up will be to get a drink for the MLW RS18 from a local fuel provider.

Después de mucho tiempo con ganas al fin pude salir dos noches a hacer via invernal. Dos salidas en solitario que fueron paliza, una noche al Salto del Gitano (la foto que veis) y la otra al castillo de Aunque os Pese al día siguiente (que ya revelaré).
En este caso la foto final me gusta mucho, aunque ha habido una seria pelea porque parece ser que ese 35mm 1.4 AF de Samyang que a todo el mundo le mete flares (IR Leak) con la cámara astromodificada (como algunas otras lentes de autoenfoque) en mi caso puede que, aunque no lo perciba como otros, también me afecte, por lo que fue necesario hacer un trabajo bastante arduo para salvar las zonas que al empezar a apretar detalles en pix insight se tornaban en zonas completas de manchurrón magenta.

Also for those who care, sorry for the heavy absence lately. I've been preoccupied with a bunch of shit and haven't found the time. I would be lying if I said I've not lost a little interest, but I don't plan on leaving any time soon.

Stayed here last week. Wonderful accommodation less than an hour from Le Shuttle, Nord-pas-de-Calais. Night sky views were pretty impressive, too.
