Female Bufflehead (Bucephala albeola)
The second smallest American duck with their average size being 35.5 cm or 14 inches. They fly fairly quickly, so I was glad that this shot came out.

My girlfriend. I feel the need to point out that she does look very young in this picture, but she is in fact 22. She is very short and petite (christophe has nicknamed her Madame Mouse) but has exceptional english, is very intelligent and funny.
