Join myself and The Jennerators today from noon SLT LIVE from The Cantina Stage as we bring you a tribute to a true guitar legend, Mr Joe Satriani.
Rock isn't a matter of life or death...it's more important than that.
Another shot from this gig a couple of years ago now. The light was super low as he was out in the crowd at this point, so a bit grainy etc, but I just loved the energy to it all.

The little sub-alpine town of Gruyères, canton of Fribourg, Switzerland. It houses the museum of Hans Rudolf Giger, Swiss painter and sculptor best known as the creator of the "Alien" character. Two "teeth" looming in the background: la Dent de Broc and la Dent du Chamois (and a fragment of a third one to the right, la Dent du Bourgo).
I'll be giving a talk about landscape photography to Hayling Island Camera Club, Hampshire, next Monday (10th November). I believe the club welcomes non-members so feel yourselves invited. Details on: www.haylingislandcameraclub.co.uk/

More blues [every day we have the blues here :)] at La Palapa the day after the big Blues Fiesta. Some of the bands hung around and played again for a good cause [Blues Against Hunger]. Guests joining Sweet Sixx/Six Pack who played today included Martin F. Tramil [lead guitar, vocals and shown in photo], Pachuco Blues Band, members of Backwater Blues Band, etc. Good turnout so folks were ready for more blues rock...
