In 2010, as I still lived in Harare, Zimbabwe, I used to visit the “bush” and other places around. I also went to “Imire Park” and as a photographer, my camera had to come with me. A few months after visiting the park, I got asked if I wanted to publish some of my photos on a book called “Imire – The Life & Times of Norman Travers”. These are some of the photos of my “Imire Collection” and all that got published on the book.
Unfortunately, I did not get the chance to meet Norman Travers as he had passed away a month before I visited the park. I am very glad that my photography got to tell a part of his life and that I got to contribute to a park that plays a very important part of the life of wild animals in Zimbabwe.

I was painting my bedroom and had the furniture moved all around the place. Riley came in and wanted to be near me and the kids. I guess this was the best place she could find to curl up... I looked over and she was all crammed into this little basket of dirty clothes.
The woman talking to me here is giving me tips. She was some sort of stealth member of the troupe, and was telling me things like "just move your knees back and forth and your butt will jiggle on its own." So I did. I can only assume about the resulting actions of my butt.

Note to self: don't leave camera in purse when walking away from the boys... I found these pictures later when I went to upload my other pics. I had no intention of posting them to flickr until today when he pestered me about it at work. Who knows, someone might find them interesting (doubt it!)
