DDC-Exercise
Shizandra gets exercised a lot. Stu walks her in the morning, then we take her out to the backyard, then Stu walks her in the afternoon and we exercise her in the backyard again.
Just learning to ride under a helpful eye. Seen while walking back from the beach near dusk. The background walker was too close in the best photo of the boy so she has been moved from the second photo when the boys leg was on the ground.
Have a good weekend when you get there. We are just 6 hours off it.
My hair is getting silly long now and i am so enjoying it especially in this colder weather. Starting to get better at styling it although it rapidly disappearing from the front that could cause a few problems in the future but I can always go for fringe pieces or toppers.
Such a cosy outfit this turned out to be have to admit ive got the jumper on tonight with a shorter black skirt and tights and his slippers! not a great look from the ankles down lol

The We're Here! gang is celebrating The Beatles today. As luck would have it, I went to a concert tonight that was having a Beatles celebration of its own.
The group performed almost exclusively late-period Beatles (there were a couple of early Beatles numbers too). Their creative arrangements were just wonderful, and included folk, Celtic, blues, jazz, and classical elements. Their five-part harmonies were delightful, and Cam's long, extraordinarily intricate fiddle riffs were beyond impressive. LJ's vocals were outstanding. It's no wonder she is sometimes referred to as the "Canadian Bonnie Raitt". For me, her vocal skills tied with Cam's fiddling for best performance.

I often find single use plastic straws, cups, bags, caps, and water bottles washed ashore. We can all do a better job by reducing these items on a daily basis

A trip down Route 66 wouldn't be complete without at least stopping to get a snapshot of the iconic Jack Rabbit Trading Post sign wedged between the highway and the former Santa Fe Railway's mainline as BNSF 7287 rumbles westward with a double-stack train on the afternoon of June 6, 2021, near Joseph City, AZ.
Getting ready this morning after my morning walk. As I was going to do my toe nails I thought I might as well go the whole hog and do my fingernails as well.
Don't ask just answering a request to see my toes painted. I do sometimes do requests as long as they are harmless. so if you want to see me wearing something special I will try and do it especially if you supply it lol. Nothing sexual though.

This is from last nights boudoir set the whole aim was to see how convincing the lace front wig was.
As winter draws nearer and daylight savings drew to a close, I once again find myself in the end-of-the-year hibernation that seems to have become an annual occurrence. Certainly a struggle to find the desire to want to shoot anything when darkness comes quick, the days get chillier, and probably most importantly, a lack of stuff I actually want to bag. So many things I would otherwise enjoy shooting have become nocturnal, and everything else is too far away to justify - be it time, distance, or cost to get there being the killer. A little burnout from a long year is the cherry on top of it all.
But, all is not lost. All it takes is the right thing to prod me and I'm out in the hot seat once again. A little heads-up that CN A407 had the venerable IC1000 leading it earlier in the day made me decide for once it would be worth jumping out of the house and taking a peek. I needed to run some errands anyway, why not have a look? Happily enough, I ran across the train as it was pulling up to Leverett Junction for a recrew. It was only a short wait until they were ready to go and moving - and I just couldn't resist going for the classic twin elevators of Leverett proper for a shot.
IC1000, class leader of the Illinois Central SD70s, has become the most coveted of all 26 all-black units today. Earlier this year, while in for its usual maintenance, the 1000 was given a gift: new white reflective tape to replace the ~17 year old yellow tape on the sill and footwells.
With a paint scheme as incredibly simple as the IC New Image "Death Star" is, even the smallest changes make a big difference - and wow, what a difference the white sill makes here. The addition of the AC and the - thankfully - tastefully small PTC antennae on the roof of the unit means you wouldn't fool anyone into thinking it would fit perfectly into the 1990s again... but it's pretty damn close. Although unlikely, it would be a real treat to see some more of the SD70s regain their white sills again. One can dream, anyway.
I've not had the best luck catching the IC1000 after its re-silling, so to get a chance to nab it again was a real delight. Some would complain about the CN-dressed IC1009 trailing, but I didn't terribly mind. No matter what trails, I'll never complain about getting to see the 1000 in the lead!
The river birch hollowed stump holds rain water for the birds. The red-bellied woodpecker is taking advantage of it here.
The 2 Class 60s - 96 and 21 get the empties on the way back to Liverpool. They do run 2 locos together sometimes ,the 'spare'
driver seemed to be asleep in the nearside seat. It was listed as 2 locos on RTT.

Aperture priority stopped down to slow the shutter. Horizontal panning for many exposures. Very little pp.
Ms. J wanted to go to playground yesterday, so we did. I took this on our little walk back to the bus stop. These little flowers peek over thick, tall green grass. I squatted, bended over, and ducked to get some pics. A lady who was walking her dog thought I was sick and asked if I was OK. LOL.
It took me a lot of time to edit this pic. I just don't know what to do with or how to edit pics that have a lot of green color. I don't think I am 100% happy with this, but I've kinda given up trying different actions. I ended up adding 3 solid colors and did some curve adjustments. I am catching up with you streams!
I watched this squirrel gather twigs and branches with leaves and then disappear into a hole in the side of this tree with them, we are getting cooler temps now
