We finally saw the Shepard Fairey "Imperfect Union" show on its final day at the Merry Karnowski Gallery in LA.
My hair is getting silly long now and i am so enjoying it especially in this colder weather. Starting to get better at styling it although it rapidly disappearing from the front that could cause a few problems in the future but I can always go for fringe pieces or toppers.
Such a cosy outfit this turned out to be have to admit ive got the jumper on tonight with a shorter black skirt and tights and his slippers! not a great look from the ankles down lol

Its been about 15 weeks since my last post here. I know I've had these extended breaks from photography and social media in the past, but this was different. The last few weeks have been tumultuous to say the least. Starting from a major health scare for my dad to sitting one of the most challenging academic exam I've had to sit so far, which I did yesterday. I'm glad that this is over... for now at least, till life throws in another challenge that is.
So the story above equates to me spending no time behind the lens. Well, I've not been able to spend any time with my little boy and the wife let alone the camera. So now that this over, I plan to catchup on both these fronts.
I've been admiring your work during this quiet time and have seen some of you take your work to a new level which obviously inspires me to get out and push the limits. Hopefully I can.
I don't have any new shots to come back with, so here is one I've had processed and sitting in my vault for quiet some time now.

The title stems from the G20 summit Brisbane is hosting next month. The race is on to present the best of the city to the top world leaders in 3 weeks time.

Hawker Hurricane Mk1 G-ROBT in its colours reflecting when it flew as P2902 of 245 Fighter Squadron, Drem, Scotland. In its mission on 31 May 1940 covering the evacuating troops at Dunkirk, Pilot Officer Kenneth McGlashan engaged and was wounded by fire from a ME109. he crash landed the crippled aircraft on the beaches, where it remained until recovered in 1988.

The 2 Class 60s - 96 and 21 get the empties on the way back to Liverpool. They do run 2 locos together sometimes ,the 'spare'
driver seemed to be asleep in the nearside seat. It was listed as 2 locos on RTT.
This is a picture who came this way from the camera, but it lookes a bit unusual, it was the largest of the tulipfields i saw blooming and by coincidence the train past by so if you plan to visit this fields once you can get there by train, taken close to Breezand at the Zandvaart
Finally something that doesn't look like it only took me five minutes to take and edit (even though it did, and that red light leak is not edited, btw). I really miss shooting during golden hour - I've got to get out there more often. Tonight I couldn't for long though, because our street ended up having a spontaneous party right as the sun was setting. :)

I really want to make sure I look my best this evening so I am taking extra care over my make up. Isn't make up wonderful you can make just the slightest adjustment with some eye shadow or liner or use a slightly lighter or darker shade of lipstick and you can look so much different which, in turn, can make you feel so much better and much more confident.
