While I support the artform known as graffiti, I do not condone any act or form of vandalism or any illegal activity relating to such whether it be to private, commercial, or public property.
I found this image in the near-ghost town of Ardill, Saskatchewan. The motto on the windshield - Get 'er done - says a lot about attitudes in my province.
Eek: "It seems to be tradition that we play board games and drink when someone new arrives"
Zuora: "Well, Mum got my for Christmas and I own a 3 headed dog named fluffy...umm...lets see...I collect books.
Eek: Sweet! Mum says you and Sadie are going to get your own rooms soon but for now just find a comfy spot and make yourself at home :)
Managed to get our little Chorley back yard looking rather nice. Another couple of weeks for the stuff we've planted to establish itself and it should be cracking. The pots on the walls are held in place using KOGs: kogdesigns.co.uk/. Tell them who sent you if you order any!
I reckon this is just a common carder bee but not entirely sure. 'twas by the banks of the White Cart in Renfrew.
When heading to down town Baltimore, you always know a few things will happen. You'll get stuck in traffic somewhere along the way, parking is few and far between, and Federal Hill on a Friday night will always be a site on the eyes. This Friday night was a bit different. The 8x10 club lit up federal hill with a SOLD OUT Big Gigantic show. The scene was flooded with all ages and types, moms and dads, artists and bohemians, it was truly the place to be that night.
Segway opened up the show and performed as the always do, with high energy and a crowed appeal that never seems to fade away. As the night grew the crowed become more and more antsy for BG to get on the stage. As soon as the Brian Shupe (owner of the 8x10) grabbed the mic and introduced the band, an energy of pure excitement filled the room. I knew what i was in store here, but did the walls and floor of the clubs? Jeremy grabbed the mic and let the crowed know one key element for the night... "Lets get rowdy Baltimore".
The set fires off with explosive synth lines and bright, in your face, bass lines. Jay-z's "Brush Your Shoulder Off" set a heavy pace for the rest of the night. It never seemed to slow down, song after song of mesmerizing sounds scapes and techniqual drumming to make any musician drop his jaw in awe.
All in all, this was a successful night for the club, for baltimore and for myself and friends. I thank Big Gigantic for bring that earthly Colorado love to our dirty dirty Baltimore.
