the cograilway to the Schynige Platte was built in 1891- it climbs over 1300m at a speed of 12km- plenty of time to enjoy the fabulous view. The average gradient is about 19%, the steepest is 25%. There are 8 Tunnels and 4 bridges over 7,2km.

There was a train following and it was a great opportunity to take a pic with the train and the view. The town below is Interlaken.
