In march I visited India for business. I had hoped to get out with the camera more but work made that difficult. Also I was in a suburb of Delhi with armed guards at my hotel so I felt unsure of wandering about in the evening on my own. However I did visit a tiger reserve, which was a total bust photographically, and managed to take some pictures during the six hour drive. These are all taken through the window of a moving taxi, reflections and scratches are clearly visible in some as is the inside of the door, so composition and focus might not be quite what it should be but they do show some aspects of life along the roadside.
Usually I prefer black and white pictures but India is such a colourful place I felt that losing that would be doing the pictures, and the country, a disservice.
On our first day of the line, I got to the Grande much earlier than expected. A reporter had called at 6:15AM and asked if I could come down in costume and do an interview. My dad drove me down to the Grande after I did the John Oakley Morning Show interview. And he fixed my hair because I was way too sleepy.
