Silhouette of Daning Tree in Indonesia with the sunset framed in the branches.
Taken with my Sony A1 Mark II and trusty 24-105G lens and a Ulanzi tripod that got really messed up in the salt water.

Ill burn every bridge that I cross
to find some beautiful place to get lost...
21st August 2018:
When I let Rufus and Izzy out this morning I noticed that the overnight rain had brought the slugs out ... grr!
As the weather didn't look hopeful I got my camera and took a photo of the horrible thing as it slid across our patio.
Although the weather improved no end, I was doing other stuff and didn't get the chance to go out, sadly.
Better viewed large (if you want to) and thank you for your favourites. :O)
Last year I "tagged-along" on a photo excursion with a group of great photographers. We stopped in an area of northern Arizona called White Pocket. We arrived there shortly after a series of heavy rains created these wonderful reflection ponds throughout the area.
I had been to White Pocket 10+ years earlier and found this little tree accidently when I got lost. This time, I very deliberately sought it out again and was delighted to see a nice reflection pool right in front of it.

We experienced a beautiful scene when the sunrise light lit up these forward trees just a few moments before it lit up the rest of the cypress forest in back. The Egret landing just as it was happening, was a very nice bonus.

We found this great little shack pretty deep in the swamp. The fall colors really highlighted it.

The glorious strata of Stair Hole, Lulworth, Dorset. An early start for this image, as the tide was in on its way in and the sun is coming up earlier each day. This current series has reinforced the saying that bad weather means better images.

What a scenic approach through a lovely subalpin forest. Shot taken at Glacier Nationalpark, Canada.
I was standing in a loft like area with hundreds and hundreds of poetry books, from here I could stand on a stool and see down the long aisles of fiction, into the true crime section, and beyond that the childrens book aisles, to the front wall which houses the rarest books in the store. This place is so easy to get lost in, and to accidentally spend all of your monies.
When I am here I feel like I fell down a rabbit hole and ended up in the place of all knowledge.
Far away from the bustle of the city.
Lejos del bullicio de la ciudad.

It’s time to show you Ketelhuisplein again, in a different way. I love this place because it changes from day to day, is quite big, empty and unique.
I hope you like the comparison between yesterday’s and today’s shot.
Let me know which one you prefer in the comment, the market version or the snow version?
