This annual event raises awareness of the importance of mapping and geospatial analysis for decision-making within USAID. After a 2-year pause due to the pandemic, the GeoCenter is bringing back the popular in-person Map Gallery to show off the unique work of our Agency’s GIS Specialists based in Missions and in Washington, DC. Historically, the Map Gallery event has attracted USAID staff from all sectors and geographies. It provides an opportunity for the Specialists to see the work of their peers and to communicate the impact of their work to those beyond their own missions and offices.
