in the quiet bend of la latina, shadows fall with purpose. one man drifts forward, heavy with silence, while others linger behind—etched in angles, soaked in late light. time here is a geometry of motion.

I am inspired by 1970’s photographers who would photograph mundane scenes and with their talent create a sense of timelessness. As Paul Graham said “pull something out of the either of nothingness.”

 

I had my Olympus OM-D EM10 in my pocket. though it is very conducive in street settings, it felt awkward pulling it out in the library.

This image shows a section of the memorial in Berlin. The tall concrete pillars form narrow paths that limit light and visibility. Walking through them can feel disorienting and quiet.

The geometry creates a sense of separation and stillness. It invites reflection—on history, on memory, and on absence.

The CSX Track Geometry train clears McGirts bridge northbound with 6025 leading LHF. The train originated in Taft and ran north on the A-line, to Moncrief yard in Jacksonville, Fl, after a long visit down south.
