Deep Dream Generator gave a local scene a whole new look.

I was rather dazzled when this came out of the Deep Dream Generator!

The end is near as the demo crew strips the power house. Plans to redevelop the 750 acre site are moving ahead. For now it's a sad area to view especially during an overcast morning.

This DC generator (5.2 kW) features rotor that is positioned between the two poles of a horseshoe magnet.

The air-insulated commutator consists of iron sheets.

I saw these in southern Illinois while we were driving back from the car show in Rockford. We probably have these in Texas but not around Austin. So, they still look interesting to me. Plus, I liked the way the light was hitting them. We didn't stop, I was just shooting from the window.

The first time I've had chance to photograph trains for a while, also the first time I've seen a colas 67, a livery thats growing. on me.
