I saw these in southern Illinois while we were driving back from the car show in Rockford. We probably have these in Texas but not around Austin. So, they still look interesting to me. Plus, I liked the way the light was hitting them. We didn't stop, I was just shooting from the window.
Tartaruga_La Madre Terra
Turtle_Mother Earth
"As ancient as our planet, long-lived, wise, resilient, fruitful, inhabitant of water and land, the Turtle symbolizes the Great Mother, generator of all creatures. In shamanism all over the world it represents the connection with the Earth, both as planet both as an element, the rooting and the underground worlds. ... The Turtle reminds us that we are children of the Earth, that it is to this Great Mother that we must turn when we need support, help."

In the land of Hollywood, where dreams are made,
There lived a man with a peculiar trade.
Nicolas Cage was his name, a man of fame,
Known for his roles in movies that brought him acclaim.
But there was one role that eluded him so,
The role of Superman, the hero we all know.
He fought for the part, but it slipped from his grasp,
Leaving him disappointed, a failure at last.
But Nicolas was not one to give up,
He continued to act, never one to stop.
In his many films, he gave it his all,
Though Superman evaded him, he answered the call.
And so it came to be, in a strange twist of fate,
That Nicolas found himself in a peculiar state.
He stumbled upon a farm, with eggs aplenty,
And the farmer there gave him eggs for free, twenty.
Nicolas was bewildered, but he accepted with glee,
For what actor wouldn't enjoy eggs for free?
He thanked the farmer and went on his way,
With twenty fresh eggs to brighten his day.
And from that day on, Nicolas was known,
As the man who loved free eggs, all on his own.
Superman may have eluded him, but he didn't mind,
For he had found a new joy, eggs of a different kind.
So here's to Nicolas Cage, the actor so grand,
Who found happiness in eggs, twenty eggs in hand.
Though he may not be Superman, he's a hero in his own right,
With a love for free eggs that shines so bright.
