more pics of 1 of 2 brackets I fabbed up for a guy who knocked off the previous OEM brackets out from under the generator of his motorhome because he takes the thing 4x4'ing to get to the really awesome fishing spots.. I put two of these on there, with 3/8"x 6" skids, I was able to lift the side of the motorhome with em, so I think they'll work, May, 2011
"Smiley" kept stalling every time I came to a stop all weekend. We drove from Millersburg up Rt 147 to Rt 522 into Sellinsgrove. Stopped at a couple places, then headed to Bevertown to GGB7. We drove over Shade mountain 3 times. Then drove home down 11/15 back to Millersburg- she stalled in front of my garage, so I opened the decklid and found this!

This may have been a Monarch 40 coal burning furnace, dating from around 1935. It may also be one of the last of them in existence, because the ONLY reference I can find to it was from a church in the USA which was destroying theirs in favor of a new system.
That water therefore will be between 4 - 5 feet deep.
This is the crank shaft that drives the generator through the main gear. The clever bit is the inner shaft that turns as far as the recessed peg (see note in picture) allows, this follows the curve of the recess as the mag handle is turned and pulls the upper end away and changes the SPDT switch over, found outside the mag body.
