Teoría general de los objetos | General Theory of Objects consists of 225 hand-modeled miniatures representing different common objects, animals and plants. They are organized in space by similitude of form, and connected by lines that group objects belonging to the same category (food, clothing, transportation, etc.)

Dibujos materiales | Material Drawings is a series of hand-made materializations of generative computational designs. They are made of a custom-formula modelling paste, extruded by hand from a syringe, following a digital design that is projected line by line over the paper.

11 x 18" Signed, dated and titled.

"Valeria" was created using a custom squid generator application I wrote in OpenFrameworks. Each squid is randomly generated, and therefore unique. Hand water colored. Printed with a dark blue sakura micron pen on Canson 140 lb. acid free watercolor paper using the HP7475 pen plotter.

“La emergencia de la imagen” (“The Emergenc[e/y] of Image”) was the final show for the Production Marathon Lab 2016 at the Spain Cultural Center in Buenos Aires.
I was this year’s invited artist and coordinator. Working together with a group of 16 participants, we explored the potential of generative systems as a new paradigm for the production of art, playing with ways to inject randomness, contingency and spontaneous order into the creative process.
The outcome of this collective exploration was shown at the end of year 2016 within the context of FASE 8, an art and technology festival which took place at the Recoleta Cultural Center, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
One of the first structures created after I added color space modifications (HSV transformations).

Non-lieu ("non-place" or "nonplace" in English) is a concept, introduced by French anthropologist Marc Augé. It describes transient spaces where people maintain anonymity and which lack the cultural or historical significance to be considered true "places" in anthropological terms. Augé contrasts this concept with "anthropological places," which are spaces that reinforce identity and facilitate meaningful social interactions among individuals with shared cultural references. Non-places, however, do not serve as meeting points or foster a sense of community. In essence, a non-place is an area we pass through rather than inhabit, where individuals remain detached, unnamed, and lonely.
This fractal is based on an IFS formed from a set of Mobius transformations, and was created using the Fractal Science Kit fractal generator. See www.fractalsciencekit.com/ for details.
The method used to produce this image is based on information in the book "Indra's Pearls - The Vision of Felix Klein" by David Mumford, Caroline Series, and David Wright. For additional details, see David Wright's "Indra's Pearls" site klein.math.okstate.edu/IndrasPearls/.
