Passing generation of the Ford Taurus, shot while at a TCCA (Taurus Car Club of America) meet in Hershey, PA.
From left: Vectra C designed by Martin Smith (as model car made by: Schuco), Opel Vectra B designed by Hans Seer (Eaglemoss/IXO) and Vectra A designed by Wayne Cherry (Eaglemoss/IXO).
In the downtown area, it's hard to avoid the generation gap. Cardboard being picked up but older Koreans who have lived incredibly tough lives to earn low wages. And designers bikes of a young person working in sneaker shop. How can these generations communicate with each other?
Bonus: Things I love about Korea. Neither of these bikes are locked.
Our generation has many stereotypes. We're known as rebels, constantly going behind our parent's backs. This photo displays this concept of rebelling, by showcasing a teen climbing the fence of a locked building.

The St. Anthony Township Cemetery, of "Potter's Field," was founded by Lewis Stone on July 14, 1853, to "be used exclusively for the uses of the public as a common and free burying ground forever and never to be used for any other purpose whatever."
Elizabeth White, wife of Lewis Stone, died at the age of 54 years and 6 months. She was buried in this acre of former homestead farm and her tombstone lies north of this sculpture.
"Generation" commemorates the hundreds of persons buried here in one of the oldest cemeteries in Hennepin County.
This sculpture, by Elizabeth Gleason Thompson, was commissioned by the City of St. Anthony and made with the help of Girl Scout Troop 1586, the Raymond Haik family and others from the community. July 1979.

Scenes from the Generation Equality Midpoint Moment held at United Nations headquarters in New York on 17 September 2023
On the 17th of September, UN Women together with the governments of Iceland and Tanzania, marked the midpoint moment for Generation Equality to bolster its agenda for gender equality acceleration at a critical time for women’s rights.
Generation Equality is the world’s leading initiative to boost investment and implementation of gender equality. It brings together organizations from all corners of society to catalyze progress, push for change and take bold actions together.
Launched in 2021 at the Generation Equality Forum hosted in Mexico City and Paris, the Forum set in motion a five-year agenda under a Global Acceleration Plan for gender equality that defines the most critical actions needed to accelerate progress.
The Forum also launched six Action Coalitions and a Global Compact on Women, Peace, Security and Humanitarian Action, each of which is spear-heading a critical part of the Generation Equality agenda.
At the Paris Forum, trailblazing stakeholders made over 1,000 policy, program and financial commitments, representing an unprecedented aggregate value of $40 billion.
As Generation Equality reaches its midpoint, we call on all stakeholders to join us to mobilize more investment in gender equality as an accelerator for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at a time when women’s rights are under increased threats globally and progress has stalled and reversed in more than 30 percent of SDGs.
The midpoint moment spotlighted:
Progress and accountability by sharing transformative results and practices for SDGs acceleration.
High impact initiatives to highlight commitments and results of the six action coalitions and the Women, Peace and Security and Humanitarian Action Compact.
Enhanced commitments for gender equality to reinforce and expand existing commitments and new high-impact and high-value commitments.
Amplification and energization of gender equality to accelerate gender-responsive sustainable development globally.

this photo was shot at the beach with my son and father walking around the sand. both looking at the ground for seashells, it struck me how one led to the other and the similarities of the two. generations displays the younger and older of one family
Street photography is not my strong point, but I find myself drawn to it recently so am trying to improve! All suggestions of good reading materials are welcome!
