This website template was written in Flash CS4 and uses AS3. The Generation X3 Template was written so that the user can easily edit the website via the xml. You do not need a copy of Flash Professional to use this template. Everything seen in the preview is included in the package.
You can change the theme colour via the xml (darker colours work best), and you can also choose which categories in the menu you want to include or not include in the xml. If you want to edit the graphics, you can easily edit the movieclips in the .fla.
Rock Sheok (Allocasuarina huegeliana) is a fire-sensitive species and when Noongar People burned country, their cooler fires only lapped the edges of the granite outcrops on which these plants thrive. New 'whitefella' land management has brought hotter, more frequent fires that tear across the landscape and sometimes completely cook these fragile ecosystems, killing the plants that live here. It will be some decades before this generation of 'teenagers' (probably 30 years old or more) will be replaced by a new and very slow-growing generation that will emerge from seed in the ash-bed.
Generation Science, the schools outreach programme from Edinburgh International Science Festival tours schools across Scotland from January to May each year.

Great-granddaughter Penelope (foreground) with great-grandmother Hannah in the background. It's a sobering thought that Hannah was once Penelope's age and Penelope may one day be Hannah's age.
An aged lady pushes her street cart, struggling daily in her golden years to make ends meet. A common sight for me seeing various senior citizens roaming the streets either collecting recycle material or selling odds and sods.
She moves on and looks back at the younger folks with different expressions, either thinking of her past when she was younger or wishing that they don't end up working at her age. While another strolls by looking and enjoying her bubble tea.
Who am I to figure what she thought at that moment, I felt it and I snapped.
