1st Fighter Squadron, Royal Jordanian Air Force F-16AM Fighting Falcon at RAF Fairford on 22nd July 2024.
Jaguares 301 Squadron 15106 F-16AM FAP from Base Aerea 5 Monte Real, Portugal on arrival at RAF Lossiemouth and heading to Keflavik for the NATO Air Policing mission.
Part of the Peace Gate III deal with Pakistan, tail 90-0952 was embargoed after the sale due to Pakistan's refusal to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. This tail along with 4 sister F-16B models were then stored on "engine run only" status for several years at AMARC in Arizona. 0952 was brought to Edwards AFB, CA in 2003, and on this particular day, serves as a chase ship during an F-22 test flight. Seems a shame to have an empty back seat like that!

FB01 was sold to Jordan and still in service in 2018.

This F-16A should have become 93740 with the Pakistan Air Force under Peace Gate IV, however, it was embargoed prior to delivery and placed in storage at AMARC (as it was known at the time). It entered service with the US Navy's Naval Strike Air Warfare Center "Top Gun" a full nine years later.

I can't believe it's almost 11 years since I saw my last F-111! So glad we made the trip to Nellis AFB for Red Flag 07-2 to catch these beauties, even if they didn't fly as much as I'd have liked!
