Acrylic gel plate monotype.
I did some floral prints today on the gel plate. I gathered some plants and brought them into the house. To do a gel plate floral, you first ink up the plate with the colors you want, lay the plants on the plate, and make a print. This gives you a negative. You then take the plants off the plate and make another print to make a positive. I was surprised by how much detail showed up in the positives. Image is about 6x6 inches (15x15 cm).
Using Dina Wakely acrylic paints, white cardstock, hand cut stencils and masks. With six completed sheets, front and back, I cut the sheets in half, folded and sewed in drawing paper to create small notebooks.

Having discovered that I can use magazine paper to print off the Gelli Arts Plate and then get the print or images from the magazines to transfer in the ghost print, I'm having fun experimenting.

A third run of 8 monotype prints after Carla Sonheim's class. I plan on working this print a bit more.
A combination of monoprints using the Gelli Arts Plate. Corner stencil is from Stencil Kingdom in the UK and the stamp of the faces is Postmodern Design "Four Spirits".

I just wanted to print even though the light wasn't perfec. Just trying out new shapes- which I like. I was slightly too hasty, colors didn't mix well, so a higher faillure rate than necessary.
