Geek the Library features local educational material that introduces “geek” as a verb and encourages the public to talk about what they geek, whether it’s engineering, superheroes, music, zombies, or cooking.
The campaign illustrates the fact that everyone is passionate about something—everyone geeks something—and that the library supports them all.
SOKC Library staff is planning a series of photo opportunities for community members to share their geeks.
Thanks to the amazing bump guides from @bobzilla I managed to grab the only minifigure I really wanted from series 7. He now sits atop my iMac.
Another design for my third week of the #365patterns challenge. This weeks theme is GEEK CHIC, yes, the theme for the Fabric8 Contest organized by Spoonflower and Robert Kaufman Fabrics :-)

You never know what to expect at the Best Buy office. I roll into work, look out the window, and see ECTO-1 chillin downstairs. What's a geek to do?
Take pictures of course! :D

With bittersweet feelings, one of my fav stores is closing, but bigger things are in mind that I can’t help but feel happy for.
The room where i store my figures, camera stuff, comics, and other various geek stuff. It was very cluttered, to the point where you couldn't see the floor almost at all, so once i got to this point i figured i'd get some pictures of it.
I call it my geek cave, since i guess it's not really a "man cave", with all the geeky stuff in it. ;)
It's the time of the year for Supanova Pop Culture Expo, a fan convention focusing on science fiction and fantasy film and TV, comic books, anime, gaming and collectables.
Last year the 3-day Sydney event attracted over 50,000 attendees.
