Two ESPN/M&NJ GE B30-7's show off a shape against the Campbell Hall, NY sunset that only a GE U-Boat could provide. The units have been idle at this spot for several weeks now waiting for an active return to service.
The NS Geep and M&NJ Geep to the right have been holding the fort down. GP-9 773 has also seen better days and is sidlined.

While traveling in southern Virginia heading toward North Carolina's Outer Banks on May 13, 2012, we ran parallel to a Norfolk Southern freight train hauling brand new General Electric locomotives. These railway engines were GE ES58ACi export versions built for the Vale Railroad system in Brazil.
From markings on the engines, it appears they are destined for use in passenger service on the Carajás Railroad. The Carajás Railroad (EFC) passenger train links the states of Maranhão and Pará via 25 villages and towns. Safe and efficient, tickets for this service are up to 50% cheaper than road transportation, and it is the choice of 1,300 passengers per day.

This is a rare GE switcher. I'm not sure what its designation is but it along with 8-10 others was built for the NYC in 1942. They were used for passenger car switching but weren't satisfactory enough because they were sold by 1952 to industrial quarry railroads. This one ended up at a foundry in Hubbard Ohio before it was donated to the Youngstown Steel Heritage Museum. Youngstown OH

GE opname van het station in 2018: rechts is de aanzet naar het voormalig HSM emplacement vernieuwd, evenals de sporen 2 t/m 4. De vroegere reizigers sporen naar Rhenen zijn duidelijk buiten gebruik, maar nog steeds aanwezig, en een aantal industiële bouwsels staat op de plek van het vroegere goederen emplacement met loswal, loc-en goederen loods.

GE, vintage early 70's? It's the sound system in my brother in law's garage. The receiver was his grandfather's, who was also a GE employee. It has a quadrophonic output in the back. Still going strong. We just gave her potentiometers a little DeOxit treatment and what an improvement, she sounds great!
