On Thursday 6/2/2025, a late-running 5XM1 (Aurizon shuttle) is seen at Dry Creek (Adelaide) with the standard G533-gl102 in charge.
X49 decorated in festive Christmas spirit, powers away from Murchison East with A85 and G539 as 9306 loaded Tocumwal container service to Appleton Dock in Melbourne.

S313 and G515 race into Arcadia with a late running 9371 container train to Deniliquin in Southern NSW.

G531 & G541 make haste through the now totally rationalised station of Somerville with the up Long Island Steel Train.
Like most stations on the Stony Point Line, Somerville is now unstaffed and the yard has been disconnected from the mainline. A feasibility study has recently been released, investigating the future expansion of services on Metro's only non-electrified line.

Heading South through Normanhurst bound for Port Botany, G533 in its new (to me) Freightliner livery leads GL112 as D412 from Broadmeadow. The pairing were heading for Port Botany to under go crew training along the freight lines in Sydney.

SSR'S CLF1, 4910, G514 & RAILPOWERS CLF4 HAVE COME TO GRIEF AT ROCKVIEW AFTER A GRAIN TRUCK FAILED TO STOP AT A STOP SIGN, TRUCK DRIVER IS FINE & TRAIN CREW ARE OK BUT VERY SHOOK UP.

A late running #9375 Tocumwal Container Train with G515, B76 and G512 crawl through Shepparton.
This train has almost hit the three quarter mark, as it progresses to Tocumwal, with approximately 67 kilometres left until the train will arrive into Tocumwal.

S313 and G515 power off a speed restriction as they make their way East away from Merrigum towards Echuca and then onto Deniliquin as a late running 9371.

14A and G42 combine to haul the 10:30am Lakeside service across the Monbulk Trestbridge away from Belgrave on the Puffing Billy Railway.
Upon arrival into Menzies Creek, G42 was detached to haul empty cars back to Belgrave for use on the 12:30pm lunch service.

G532 and VL362 power away from Murchison East as 9374 loaded QUBE Logistics container train from Tocumwal/Mooroopna to Appleton Dock.
This was the first venture of a VL class locomotive on the Tocumwal line.

When I saw this while passing a supermarket I had to turn around and take a better look. It's the first time I've seen a P4, and it's not even at an event.
Maneuvering around the sidings at the Boral Waurn Ponds cement plant, T400 assisted by G524 in the distance, shunt together a rake of empty cement hoppers bound for North Geelong yard for storage.
This was the last train to use the sidings here before the train then "officially" ceased upon departure.
Cement will now be carted via truck from Waurn Ponds and in containers to Mildura on 9101/2.

Double G class locos G524,G511 work a loaded grain train from north of Maryborough past Ballarat East on 1-10-2000
B61 leads S302, S317 and G514 emerge from a brief but intense summer storm at Springwood with 1877 freight from Cooks River to Kelso. The Blue Mountains weathered three summer storms over the course of the morning, with the weather varying wildly between bright, hot and sunny, and wind with hail!
Just before sunset on Monday 7/11/2022, AK82 (ARTC track inspection train) is seen halfway between Mallala & Korunye (SA) with Aurizon loco G535 in charge.
Despite Aurizon ownership, G535 still wears its Freightliner livery, & the crew van behind the loco has the 1rail logo.
On Monday 15/1/2024, 1116s (loaded pacific national fuel shunt) is seen at Dry Creek (Adelaide) with G526 hauling 5 tanks.
Since mid-December 2023, the bland nr’s have dominated this shunt, so it was good for a single G to appear. Hopefully we’ll see members of the AN class appear on this working.
