The second slightly damaged slotted gatepost at Longstone Manor on Dartmoor just above the shoreline of Burrator reservoir.
One half of the old gateway to the Comiston House stable block.
A fragment of fence suggests the line of the original wall; the stout stone gatepost lies on the ground just behind, covered in ivy and dreaming of its former life, standing proud as James Forrest's horse trotted past.
One of a pair of imposing Gothic cast iron gate posts adjacent to the churchyard. Unfortunately, with no apparent foundry marks.

A lovely entrance to a cottage that I saw whilst walking along a remote welsh lane in late Autumn. I loved the gatepost, it just made the photograph.
Seen near the main path from Keswick up the West side of Latrigg. I wonder what the rest of the gateway and fence looked like?
