End of today's efforts. I'm getting a massive blister on my right hand, I'm exhausted, and the greens bin is full.

 

Yep, I'm a wuss.

 

But hey, there's no deadline on this project, so it shouldn't matter too much if I take my time.

After measuring and setting the planters into place, I painted marks on the ground (hard to see, only had grey paint) so I would know where to dig.

The prototype planter box. I built the first one from left-over fence rails and posts from the part of the fence I pulled down to put in the shed - so the material on hand determined the measurements and size (but it all worked out well)
