The listings for Melbourne Hall gardens include quite a few putti and cherubs on pedestals at various points around the Grand Basin. Frankly, I can't remember which is which of any of this bunch!

Ben and Aaron work the washpack, where we get all of the crops ready for storage. Soon we'll have a tent to give more shade, as well as a faucet hook up.

The naturally decomposing stump our bird bath sits on. The insects, woodpecker and nuthatch like it.

Hodsock Priory near Blyth has a snowdrop tour every year. In spite of its name it was never a priory. And the gateway is the only authentic bit dating before the Victorian era.
