My ability to get the light exactly the way I wanted it was trumped by my inability to keep myself from eating my own garbage plate.
P.S.:
I was not successful in finishing this beast, I guess I shouldn't have been cocky and scarfed a quarter pound of cheese and the obligatory triscuits just an hour before.

Seemed to be a lot of "crap" floating in the air, probably grease and smoke that really made many of my previous shots look hazy, This was when I stopped shooting through directly at the subject and decided to bounce the flash off the ceiling.
A random snapshot of a new Waste Management garbage truck that picks up garbage cans with a robotic arm that extends from the right-side of the truck seen on its route in Brookhaven, Mississippi on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 12:31 PM CST.
Waste Management is the new contractor company that had replaced Arrow Disposal Services, Incorporated (ADSI) on September 30, 2024. These trucks are operated by one-man crews which is only the driver and he only has to line up the robotic arm or ''claw'' as I call it to the cans and push a button.
The previous company had used rear-loader trucks and three-man crews, the driver and two ''hoppers'' riding on the backside of the truck. The major problem with these newer trucks is they would have to make multiple passes on the same streets and do one can at a time which makes them slower and sometimes, they do not always empty the cans all the way. Back when we still had Arrow Disposal Services, the extra two riders who emptied the cans would also pick up any bit of garbage that happens to fall out like cardboard boxes like pizza boxes, these trucks just empty the cans and head off to the next one on its route. Besides than that, these trucks are cool looking.
The garbage can elevator was shut down because it's infringing technical regulations and can not be upgraded to fulfill them. So the cans have to stand night and day in the park of the housing area near playground and table tennis area.

The garbage hold has a maximum capacity of 21,000 tons. Two huge cranes lift the trash into a chute that leads to the incinerator.

A contribution for his effort to keep his country clean .I spoted him picking garbage along with riverside parks.He was doing it with passion for the love of his fellow citizen !!!
