While walking around in New York I saw these scratches on a garbage bin which reminded me of one of those abstract artworks at the Yale Art Gallery ;-) Hope you like it!
This garbage in the corner of a small village harbor in Penghu was definitely the exception in Penghu, because I found that Penghu is a very very clean place. I just thought this was a little interesting (if not nausiating), because you can find almost every kind of beverage here that they sell in the convenient stores in Taiwan.

On the way back, just bump into a dustcart which is playing one of the important roles of human daily life.
Give them your respect when you meet a dustcart next time, will you?
In a little alcove off the cabana is this disgusting little mini garbage dump. I'm not sure why this stuff is here, there is a dumpster about 20 yards away.

A mixed drink called a "Garbage Can" which was a Long-Island Iced Tea type concoction topped off with a Red Bull. Taken at Kelly's Tavern in Virginia Beach on St. Patrick's Day. #RedBull
Did you know that there is this huge garbage patch in the pacific ocean the size of the USA? Damn, I sure didn't! But when I found out I knew I wanted to use it for something...
So then this school assignment came up, about making some sort of documentary with photographs combined with sound. With a simpel photo-slide-show program we had to create something. Although most of my classmates made something more documentary-like I chose this route.
It's just amazing how we think we've made the world so much better and all... Though we don't see the shit we make... Well, I'm not any better I guess.

I really didn't want to have one but for some reason Amelia really wanted me to have the local specialty, the Garbage Plate. It was, of course, way too much food and honestly, not very good. Sort of like Sloppy Joe sauce over two sausages and mac salad with fries.
Seen at the local garbage dump. This song came to mind...
"I'll be a killer whale,
when I grow up, I'll be a vulture
I’ll be an animal, A carnivore,
I’ll be a monster
Clenching my jagged jaws
Over the captured
I’ll be a killer whale when I grow up.
I’ll be a tidal wave when I grow up
Crashing on harbors
I’ll be a temperamental element
A raging water
I’ll be a perfect storm swallowing over
I’ll be a killer whale
When I grow up, I’ll be a monster
I’ll be a hurricane when I grow up
An ugly thunder
I’ll be a forest fire about to flood
Over an empire
I’ll be an avalanche chewing it's raptured
I'll be a killer whale
When I grow up I’ll be a MONSTER
I’ll be a killer whale

Something about these cans attracted me...possibly the shiniest garbage cans I've ever seen in a public park. This was by the falls in Idaho Falls, Idaho
