Something I like about New Yorkers. they'll stick the slightly more valuable things that maybe somebody will want on top of the garbage. do they do it out of kindness or to prevent their garbage from being ripped apart? hard to know. but somebody's probably going to have a reasonable coat. oh. the dog? he was just there, checking.

Inside my grandmother's house. She's been a hoarder for as long as I could remember and we recently started attempting a clean-out.
The nearby village has a perfect garbage dump in the 100 meter deep entrance pit of Dead Man Pit. When the monsson rain comes, the garbage is flushed away, to somewhere else. Perhaps someones water source? Kayah 2016 Expedition (Myanmar Cave Documentation Project www.myanmarcaves.com)

Recently we made Sebastian a 'Garbage Truck Cake' for his big #4 birthday!
Apparently Sebastian waits on the front porch for the 'garbo' to collect their wheely-bin. They both exchange lots of smiles and a big thumbs up- which makes Sebastian so happy!
We met last year when he picked up his cousins' cake, and he is a real pocket full of joy!
We made an egg-free chocolate mud cake filled with many layers of mixed berry swirl buttercream.
I *love* the garbage pail kids!! I tried to go stand in it to take a photo, but it was *way* too tall for me. We put the two tallest guys in our group in there.
