Walking down 5th Avenue in NYC during an 11 inch snow fall, what to my wondering eyes should appear, but four Sanitation trucks with one-way blades mounted on the front, plowing the avenue in formation driving. Pretty cool. Wish I'd had my good camera along but did the best I could as they and the snow flew by.
Workers in Germany wear blue overalls and the Garbage Men these orange outfits. They match their orange trucks and the small orange trash cans attached to polls all over the city. These guys must be on break right? Taken near Hackesche Höfe. From the weblog: theberlinimage.blogspot.com/
A leaf on a bear-proof garbage can on a wet day. It must have felt very unwanted!

A bunch of plastic hangers, discarded in a dumpster. As I took this a suspicious employee of Liquidiation world was taking a smoke break. She demanded to know, "Why are you photographing our garbage?"
Our garbage men have way too much free time. I had to actually drive up onto my yard in order to make it around that lone lid when I came home from break.
