GAP questions the division of corporate money, power and labor within Gap Incorporated. Specifically, GAP contrasts the CEO/President and one garment worker, employed in a Gap Incorporated-contracted factory. This project aims to draw attention to the extreme differences in quality of life and working environment between these two subjects. GAP exposes the reality of the sweatshop experience, the consequences of supporting this type of industry and offers viable ways to narrow the disparity.

I decided to leave my "real" cameras at home this year and take one of my more whimsical cameras with me on our annual trip to SWVA. This year my father and I did our traditional bike ride on the Virginia Creeper Trail (Shout out to the Shuttle Shack for another excellent bike rental and ride to the top of the trail). The next day, we went on tot he Cumberland Gap. Our hotel was in Tennessee but overlooked the Pinnacle which is in Virginia. The Pinnacle has views of Kentucky and Tennessee.

that's me trying to fit into the picture of the Gap.

It was probably the most *exciting* part of the trip! We both inched closer and closer to the edge (not pictured), me screaming to weng not to go any closer to the edge, as it was slippery and there was a 100m or so drop into the swirling water and crashing foamy waves....

another in my ongoing series themed around public transport. Looking forward to the day, hopefully soon, when I live somewhere I don't have to catch a train or bus in the mornings to get to work......
