One of the first (test)shots I made with my analog Canon lenses mounted on my 400D using an adapter ring.

The ring is great, as are the lenses. With an €30 FD to EF mount adapter I suddenly have 3 analog canon FD-lenses at my disposal. They are prime lenses so there's no zoom but they are pretty fast.; the 50mm is f/1.8.

The downside is that there's no autofocus, and manual focus is a little harder to pull off on a dSLR, since the viewfinder is a lot smaller and there's no focussing aid. Nevertheless I love manual focus and a new focusing screen will certainly help.

After some shots with the analog lenses I noticed the parts that are out of focus seem to get more fuzzy then usual at big apertures. I then decided I rather like it! though I wonder if it's normal. Is my 50mm acting as a soft focus lens with the adapter ring?

Buggy, my niece, loves her new crocheted fuzzy hat so much that she made me spit bubbles in trade.

ACLS Brigantine Branch held a children’s craft on Friday, July 26, 2019 for ages 3-12. Kids made fuzzy fish pictures, and brightly brought their art to life with color!

After a bushfire many eucalypts sprout from their trunks as a means of getting a hit of energy. The leaves sprout from things called epicormic shoots. Once the trees get back their normal foliage the fuzz falls off.

Given how dim the room actually was this is probably the best exposure of the bunch - so naturally I didn't hold the camera steady. I did a lot of learning that weekend (both of performers and photography).

I was walking through the greenhouses Sunday morning about 8 AM. On the east side of the semitropical greenhouse are three large planters with palm trees. Below the trees are some purple ground cover plants, I couldn't find the name. As a sign of spring, one single fuzzy shoot was reaching for the light from the purple leaves. It was fuzzy and wonderful. And had something to do with Care Bears I think...

My wireless reception is fuzzy. Can someone help me diagnose the problem?

I dug out my old 500mm mirror-lens for the fun of it. Cheap and cheerful Centon thing, f/8 only which gives naff-all DoF even at 50yd.

You got this fuzzy feeling and are not sure if you should get a FujiFilm S2 Pro. Just look through a few of my shots and see what this SuperCCD sensor can do. The colors rendering is just fantastic.

Found in my driveway on a rainy morning. Would love to identify it. About 1 1/2 inches long. South Louisiana. View On Black

10/11/2009 update: Thanks to Ron M. on bugguide.net/node/view/342453, this little fella has been identified as a Salt Marsh Moth caterpillar (Estigmene acrea). Did some more Googling and learned that they do not sting!

Next time I'll shoot it with the wide-angle so you can see his widdle feets splayed out too.

He loves this position!

I have no idea what this weed is called, but it looks neat when moisture beads up on the fuzz that covers the leaves. This was next to the Neosho Interlocker.
