ODT TIME
It took a bit if time (Groan!) but I finally got pretty much the shot I was looking for. This is the first of these fuzzy caterpillars I have seen this fall, so he arrived right at the opportune moment. Commonly known as a Woolly Bear.
I used the f3.5-5.6 18-55mm Sony at 55mm/f10 with a 20mm extension tube. It has about a 30% crop to remove extraneous background. I tried about a dozen times, getting him to walk up my finger, waiting for him to walk over my watch. My thought was to have him walk across the dial which he never did, but I think this works.
We all need fall fuzzies now that the weather is cooling off! :-) Actually, this particular plant thrives from spring until the first hard frost hits -- a beautiful edging plant!
Cute garden visitor. 💖 Exploring tree? 😂
Many thanks to everyone for your visit, comments and faves! Much appreciated! 🌻
Happy and sunny weekend! 🌹🌼🍁

It's been a while so I hope I haven't become but a fuzzy memory in your minds.. ;-)
I got back from my long snowboarding trip a few weeks ago, but right after that, there was so much I had to do at work and in my personal life. So much.. that pretty much everything else had to be put on the back-burner.. including my Tassia time.
Last week, I had my monthly hair removal treatment.. and after that I dressed up casually to visit a couple of friends.
So, here's a (out-of-focus) shot of that evening.. nothing too fancy.. :P
However, April should be bring some new opportunities.. so let's hope for the best! :)
In a stroll in my neighbourhood, happened upon these pretty little garden flowers. They grow less than a foot off the ground and the bloom is about 4-5 inches long. No idea what they are called but love their delicate softness.
Thankyou "Kelly Cakes" who wrote, "This one is a Ptilotus Joey. They are native to Australia, drought tolerant and range in color from purple to white. There is another similar flower it may be....the Ptilotus Wallaby. The Joey is an annual & the Wallaby is a perennial, the feathers are longer and the blooms last longer than the Joey, but I don't think the Wallaby gets as dark as the Joey." Pretty sure this is the perennial variety.
it's a puppy that's fuzzy.

Some friends and I hiked several; miles up and down mountains, bush wacked through a mountainside of poison ivy, fell , slipped and slid down slopes to visit four waterfalls yesterday. All it cost me was fall in a creek where I doused my iphone , watch and wallet (saved the camera though) broke my tripod. lost a lens cap and developed a huge case of poison ivy. However, I would do it again and probably will to see the rest of the hundreds of waterfalls here in the Natural State of Arkansas.

Most people don't like bugs. I'm not a fan of mosquitos but I do think there are some bugs that are really amazing. I think this one may be some sort of tiny planthopper nymph.
Found in the brush by the side of the road at Squaw Creek Park in Marion, Iowa.
Id help/corrections appreciated.
During our visit to Melbourne we visited my sister and her family at a property In the wonderfully named Nar Nar Goon North.
One of the first to greet us was little Fuzzy. Say hello to the people Fuzz! "Nar Nar Goon" is said to be the Aboriginal name for "water rat". But Fuzz ain't no water rat.
