This is a clone of the Peach Fuzz. Like the Acapulco Gold, it uses a pair of those little LM386 amp-in-a-chip dealies like they use to make cigar box amps and it simulates the sound of a cranked-up amp...kinda. The Peach Fuzz adds an op-amp to kind of mediate things and turns it into more of a fuzz than an amp simulation, but it still kind of has that character. It still cleans up really nice with the Volume control on my guitar and the output level is much more manageable than the Acapulco Gold, although still pretty hot. You can see where I have it (the right knob) for unity gain. It's a very cool fuzz.

Lately I've been playing with and tweaking some simple fuzz pedal designs. Since building this prototype I've since designed a board that solders to the bottom of a stomp switch using some tiny surface mount components to save space. I should have a finished pedal wired up soon. :)
the house looked mostly okay for a place that has been empty for over a year (this is my dad's place) but some things showed the passage of time
Milkshake IPA from Bridge Brewing 6% ABV 45 IBU Breaks nearly every rule I have for beer including the addition of peach juice. It is also unfiltered and when pouring the last few inches you are encouraged to shake the bottle to mix up the lactose - hence the frothy head and the "hazy" appearance. But very definitely worth getting and trying: I will buy it again.
