A sold out Parkteatret in Oslo enjoyed the singing and energy on stage from Future Islands. This was the groups second visit in Oslo.
Good form going into the corner, eyes looking though, decent lean angle, relaxed upper body. I like it.
This little guy was the ring bearer at the wedding I shot this weekend. I love this photo, because it just makes me smile.
Sizewell looms on the horizon beyond Minsmere reserve reedbeds. What will the future bring? Signs on the roads in the local area already point to the new roads that will shortly be built to serve the construction site of Sizewell C.
The RSPB and Suffolk Wildlife Trust have expressed concern about both the plant itself and the new access works. They are worried that the influx of unfamiliar lights and loud noise will impact the wildlife. Those involved in the construction promise to keep noise and light to the minimum but any noise and light will disturb the rhythm of wildlife.
On the plus side there will be new foraging grounds to encourage marsh harriers, new trees planted and a new wetland wildlife area between the boundary of Sizewell and that of Minsmere. Both parties are concerned about further coastal erosion. The construction will still take several years to complete. We must hope that new ways are found to sort the problems in a positive way.
I let fly my mind and imagine a colorful cyberpunk future, confident that not everything will be as in the dark and depressing dystopias to which we are accustomed by the narrators of current stories, designs that combine organic and highly technological, seasoned by saturated colors that give that touch to what has to come and we only reach to dream...

You can kind of tell she is singing and the stick is her microphone. Give her a real mic and she goes to town. Between that and the constant dancing (and the little minor detail of growing up in a theater), I may soon have a stage brat on my hands.
