We were out-and-about today and had to make a pit stop to nurse Wes. He noticed this seagull before I did and started to talk to it. He was a very distracted nurser trying to keep an eye on the bird and tell me all about it!

This was taken as we were about to emerge from the Kennedy Tunnel in Antwerp (country 3 of 5 that we travelled through yesterday, which is always amazing to someone who grew up in a country where the same distance would only take me from one major city to another).
This tunnel and a few other mid-20th C locations in Holland, Belgium and France were named in honour of the late President Kennedy as JFK and the 60's were all about The Future and its myriad possibilities, hence my choice. At the time of shooting this photo it was more about my just trying to shoot something in the lowlight environment without a flash :-) Given the grubby state of our windscreen I'm not unhappy with this (slightly blurred) shot.
PS I was in the passenger seat so no one was at risk :-)
