As we all will be. Our four grown up children walking together under an old railway bridge at Carr Vale Nature Reserve on a very hot day. Posted on the 35th anniversary of the death of our first born. if you can see a stray arm sticking out then that belongs to our young grandson obscured at the front.

Trying to be good during Covid-19 isolation and made some nutrition-rich soup. I love a good sprout so bought a pack, along with some beetroot. I've added some butter beans, stock, some leftover broccoli and one of those little tubs of Frank's RedHot Sauce that came with a pizza ages ago.
The resultant soup was delicious, if a slightly odd colour: somewhere between orange and brown.

It's so wonderful to have a backyard full of things to photograph! Taking camera out with a macro lens is lake going for an adventure. Looking for new little things to discover, that are missed otherwise. One really does not need to travel far to see beautiful things.. ;D
The Madrid Metro station at Nuevos Ministerios is a futuristic concrete cavern. It is a crossing point for 3 different Metro lines (6, 8 and 10) and connects with a regional surface rail line too. The bridges, walkways, tunnels and platforms make an underground labyrinth where the photographer could spend days or even the rest of his life!
A Baltimore-bound commuter train hauled by a pair of MARC's MK-rebuilt F9s passes some CSX power sitting at HX interlocking in the shadow of a long-gone B&O signal bridge.
The 81 went on to haul passengers for the Saint Louis Car Company and became one of the most photographed locomotives in the country as the Norfolk Southern 4270.
NS sold it to Reading and Northern as is still one of the most photographed locomotives in the country as R&N 270.
Remodel, Week 10
At the left corner of the new produce walk-in cooler, this strange setup can be found. I'm not exactly certain what its purpose is, but I'm going to guess it's a juice bar. I seem to remember reading that these remodels will be adding juice bars to Sam's Clubs, anyway. All stores have to jump on the trendy bandwagon, even if they're membership clubs, right? :P
The awning looks nice at least, even if it does feel a bit out of place for this type of environment. Those tables are interesting as well: I'm not sure if they give me a warehouse/corrugated-metal-as-décor vibe, or a surf-shop-on-the-beach sort of vibe XD

These places are public so these photos are too, but just as I tell where they came from, I'd appreciate if you'd say who :)

This little girl was trying to figure out how to make that tractor go... She finally figured out that the pedals were the way to go...
The return of a friend, in your life, in your heart. You weren't expecting it, but it is a nice surprise. What will the future hold?

this is for my photography class to capture how our school is "building the future" and since a future without doctors would be bleak i chose these dental students
These torso's might look familiar, www.flickr.com/photos/enigmabadger/5046401048/in/set-7215... , this was something I was working on with Will. He had asked me to work on a few decal designs for him that he could use for printing his custom minifigs. Unfortunatly it never got past the planning stages and these were some samples he gave me as we were working on the design.
Yes, they are printed. I am providing the heads and headgear from my collection.
I was first attracted to the "Future Natural History Museum" sign in the background (thus the title) when I found this one. The woman on the left is playing a type of flute or recorder while the woman on the right looks on. This image seems to make a statement about time passing. Found in Ohio.
This was my first photo shoot with the lovely Valerie - what a fun young lady to shoot with - very high energy and willing to take direction. Very adventurous too - hopefully we'll have a chance to shoot again in the near future as she is very much into Cosplay.
I took these photos at Veterans Memorial Park, Boise, ID in July 2016.
