Same shot as the overgrown mono version from earlier in the week. My Dad now has a new fusebox on his tractor and is back in mow mode.

Have a great day, everyone!

HBM!!!!

I'm not really sure why it's called the Off center. There's no On center..:) It's part of Fusebox, and there are the ones who put on a two week festival of the arts here in Austin during the month of March. And, I'll be doing the photography for the event. Yeah!

Something tells me this fuse box isn't quite up to code. Alviso, California.

Update: Not saying this was the cause, but this building, the H.G. Wade Warehouse, burned down this past weekend. Just sayin'.

Happy Bench Monday..HBM!!

I know! Hard to believe it's already Monday. This is another day time shot that I made look like it was night time. I showed it to a friend of mine, and he said, "Well, if you wanted a night shot, why didn't you just go take the shot at night."..Grrrr

I'm feeling so good, I volunteered for the Fusebox festival and told them I'm a photographer. They said they had plenty of photographers. So, I sent them a link to my images and they sent me and email back saying they wanted me to shoot the festival..How cool is that.

Have a great week

The title is a little cryptic. An empty fusebox in an old factory and a fuse in Dutch is also called a "stop".

Lauran, one of my hiking buddies, at a restaurant on the lake. She said, "I won't embarrass you, people our age are invisible."..lol..She may be on to something, no one looked at us or said anything..:)

Monday's the last day of the Fusebox festival. Kinda sad, I've really enjoyed having something to do and a place I need to be.

Hope your week goes well.

Two weeks before their final working for British Rail on 26th February 1977, just a handful of 'Westerns' survived, mainly to meet booked charter operations. The fact that No. 1023 'Western Fusilier' actually made it to York with F&W Railtours 'Western Finale' from Exeter St Davids on 12th February 1977 was a minor miracle, as the loco came into contact with a herd of cows in the Charfield area on the outward leg. The rescue plan, as noted on the Six Bells Junction entry for this tour, was a Class 46 to York with 1013 Western Ranger back, after being ripped off 5A06 Plymouth - Paddington vans at Westbury. Yes, they could do such things in those days! But the solution was even more weird, as a travelling Laira fitter managed to 'repair' the fractured air brake pipe with a 10p coin, and the 'FuseBox' was on its way again! And,1023 performed for the rest of the day, and is seen after arrival at York around one hour late. Copyright Photograph John Whitehouse - all rights reserved

Re-united, I think for the first time since hauling the farewell BR 'Western' tour, the 'Western Finale' on 27th February 1977, D1023 'Western Fusilier' & D1013 'Western Ranger' depart from Kidderminster Town with the SVR's 1200 service to Bridgnorth on 30th September 2000. 'Fusebox' iOS carrying the headboard of that famous tour, which I think is now owned by the Western Locomotive Association, owners also of D1013. Note that every vantage point in every coach has at leat one head 'taking in the fumes! Copyright photograph John Whitehouse - all rights reserved
