The Oldsmobile Delta 88 was built between 1949-1999. From 1954 to 1974, the 88 was the division's top-selling line, particularly the entry-level models such as the 88 and Dynamic 88. It was one of the best-performing automobiles from 1949-1951 during their early years primarily because of its small size, light weight, and advanced V8 engine.
From 1971 to 1976, which was the seventh generation for the 88, all the GM B-Body cars were completely restyled for the new model year.
1975 would be the last year for the Delta 88. For 1975, changes included revised grilles and taillights, as well as new rear-quarter windows for pillar and Holiday sedans. All engines were hooked up to a catalytic converter that not only mandated the use of unleaded gasoline, but ultimately spelled the end for dual exhaust systems.
June 11, 1975 was the day the last Royale Convertible was built. Just under 7,200 Convertibles were built for 1975 as Oldsmobile made an effort to target the convertible market time. The headline for the magazine ad that appeared for this car read "Today a beautiful Olds convertible, tomorrow a collector's item"

Once again on loan to Stagecoach Manchester from Ferrymill Motors and allocated to Middleton.

On long term loan to Stagecoach Highlands at the time was Ferrymill Motors ADL Enviro200 MX14 FUP - Fm36 - seen here approaching Inverness Bus Station to complete a service on route X25.
This vehicle is in a plain white livery with a Stagecoach logo applied for the duration of its loan period. I forget exactly how long the loan was but it was here for quite a long while doing all sorts of routes that go from Inverness to other areas. As you can see this bus has the facelifted front end.

In 1999 the previous incarnation of York Pullman, then owned by Durham Travel Services, was coming to the end of its existence. Low-floor buses had been introduced in 1997 with five of these Darts in a rather garish livery with Pullman Easylink fleetnames, a marked contrast to the traditional maroon and cream. These passed to First York with the sale of the business during 2000.
